GREEN-fingered volunteers are planning to breathe new life in to a pond at a Hampshire park.
Conservationists want to turn the dilapidated pond area next to Royal Victoria Country Park’s education buildings in to a valuable learning resource for schools and youth groups.
The paths, beds and pond-dipping platform have been designed to accommodate people with various abilities. There will also be a vegetable plot and composting area designed to allow youngsters to grow their own food and learn about recycling.
