FORMER Bishop of Southampton, the Rt Revd Paul Butler, is to be installed as Bishop of Southwell and Nottingham this weekend.
The bishop left Southampton last November after five years as a suffragan bishop in the Diocese of Winchester.
He will become the first Bishop to be enthroned under the new title for the Southwell and Nottingham Diocese, following the retirement of the Rt Revd George Cassidy.
He has strong Nottingham connections as he was based in the city for three years, after graduating from the University in 1977.
