DETECTIVES investigating the murder of a young Hampshire mum and her baby have been given a second extension to the time they have to quiz their main suspect.
Magistrates have granted permission for police to hold Anthony Marsh until around 9.30pm tomorrow.
He has been held in custody since being arrested in Fareham on Monday.
Police are questioning him about the killings of his partner Stephanie Bellinger and their ten-month-old daughter Lili, whose bodies were discovered in their home in Myrtle Avenue, Totton, at around 9am on Saturday.
Detectives from Hampshire Police's major crime team were this morning given an extra 36 hours to question 21-year-old Marsh.
He was arrested after being spotted by police officers in West Street, Fareham. However, the Daily Echo understands that detectives were unable to begin interviewing him until later yesterday.
