THE Daily Echo has launched a campaign to encourage Hampshire parents to get their children vaccinated against swine flu before March 31.
We applaud the courage of Sarah-Jayne and Iain McCall for speaking out at a terrible time for them – and are asking mums and dads to Do It For Andrew so there are no more tragic deaths of youngsters from the killer illness.
All children aged between six months and five years are eligible for the jab until the end of this month.
GP surgeries have written to parents inviting them to bring in their children for vaccination.
If you want your child vaccinated, contact your GP surgery or, if you live in Southampton, ring NHS Southampton City on 023 8029 6904. If you live in Hampshire ring NHS Hants on 023 8062 7444.
