FRENCH playgroup: Chineham's original French language playgroup "L'cole Franaise" celebrated its 20th anniversary recently.
This event was attended by the borough mayor, Cllr Gwen Richardson, and Freeman of the Borough Mrs Betty Holmes.
Children aged between two and 15 took part, performing scenes and songs in French.
Alongside current pupils, past helpers and pupils came along to see how L'cole Franaise was progressing.
A big thank you to all those who helped make the event such a success.
For information on the playgroup and its future activities, contact Chansopha Biermann on 352434.
CHINEHAM Village Club: The club's membership year starts on May 1, and it is offering buy-one-get-one-free for new family memberships until May 31.
MOBILE library: This will be in the village hall car park on Thursday, May 5, from 4pm to 4.20pm.
