HAVING left school at the age of 12, singer-songwriter Paddy Casey learned to make music on the streets of his hometown Dublin.
Riding high on the success of his multi-platinun selling album Living, Casey swept into Portsmouth.
A small but nonetheless appreciative crowd welcomed him to his first visit to the city.
His soulful brand of music lifts the heart and the cross section of ages in the audience shows he appeals to everyone from starry-eyed students (who were keen to capture images of him on their camera phones) and middle-aged women who swayed their hips in time to the beat.
Flautist Jonathan sent hearts racing with his beautiful sounds and stunning good looks.
Looking like a modern-day Donovan, Casey's sweet voice and great tunes make a winning combination.
And when he stopped between songs to chat, he really won over his audience.
