A SOUTHAMPTON shopping centre and other properties in and around the city are set to make millions when they are sold at auction in London.

UK auctioneers Allsop & Co is to offer the freehold interest in the properties for sale on May 19 as part of a 209-lot auction featuring commercial property from across the UK. More than 15 lots are from Hampshire.

The total combined guide price for all eight lots is more than £2.5m.

Allsops are selling the freehold interest, but existing tenants and traders will not be affected.

A guide price of £1.8m to £1.9m has been set for offices let to Biscoes Solictors at 62-68 Kingston Crescent, North End, Portsmouth. Again, Biscoes' lease will not be affected by the sale.
