HENRI CAMARA lets fly to score potentially the most valuable goal of Saints' 120-year history.

There have been many more famous players than the on-loan Senegalese international to wear the red and white stripes ...

... But not even Mick Channon, Terry Paine, Matt Le Tissier or Ron Davies ever netted a goal which could be worth as much as Camara's late winner in the pulsating relegation clash with Norwich.

Saints stand to lose around £14m in sponsorship alone if they go down - last season they earnt £20m from Premiership prize money and Sky revenue - and the parachute payment for 2005/06 is around the £6m mark.

But Camara's strike in a flash lifted Saints off the bottom of the Premiership and out of the relegation zone.

And its financial value to Saints could be literally priceless ...
