HENRI CAMARA'S goal three minutes from time has given Saints a great chance of surviving the drop as they beat Norwich 4-3 in an incredible match at St Mary's.
The Senegal striker had only been on the pitch 13 minutes when he fired home from 20 yards to give Saints the win.
Saints had got off to the worst possible start when Norwich opened the scoring after just three minutes with David Bentley finishing at the far post from Leon McKenzie's cross.
Matt Oakley levelled on seven minutes when he fired across Robert Green before a great finish from Peter Crouch made it 2-1.
However, Norwich equalised when Danny Higginbotham turned into his own net.
Graeme Le Saux produced a great finish to put Saints 3-2 up but Norwich levelled with the last kick of the first half when McKenzie finished low past Antti Niemi.
The game was end-to-end with both sides having so many chances but in the end Camara stepped up to leave it game on for Saints when they travel to Crystal Palace next week.
