A CHARLTON landlord and two friends who ran the London Marathon have been totting up their charity winnings - a massive £7,100.
A brainwave in the bar led to a first and last London Marathon for Royal Oak landlord Pete Cadman and two of his regulars, Jason Webb and Stuart Bishop.
The marathon challenge began when Pete was asked by Jason and Stuart if he would join them for the 26 miles. Pete and Stuart raised £6,000 for the British Heart Foundation - selected because Stuart was born with a hole in his heart. Jason contributed £1,100 to the Enham Trust.
