EASTLEIGH MP David Chidgey joined the crew on board MS Princess Caroline at Ocean Village, Southampton, to promote a luxurious charity dinner cruise being held later this year.
The event on August 5 in aid of Macmillan Cancer Relief will include a three-course meal, live on-board entertainment and a grand raffle and will end with a firework display to mark the end of Cowes Week.
Mr Chidgey, who is one of the patrons of the charity and has decided to retire as an MP, said: "The evening will be a chance to unwind, listen to some great music and see the night sky lit up.
"Money raised from the event will go towards the Macmillan Appeal for South Hampshire to provide services where they are most needed locally."
