SOUTHWOOD professional Chris Hudson took first prize at the DCG Charity Pro Am at Stockley Park with a two under par 70. He hit 17 greens in regulation and was the only player in red figures.
And that's his second win already this season after the Stanley Hunt Challenge Bowl earlier this month.
The former Hampshire amateur champion is reaping the dividends of a golf-specific exercise programme, designed by the Winchester golf biomechanic Jon Harrison.
Harrison's philosophy is simple: to hit the ball further, lower your handicap, improve your swing and strike more accurate shots, you need to improve your golf-specific fitness. His tailored, individual golf conditioning programmes are based on functional exercises that restore muscle balance, flexibility and strength, and coordination of golf-specific movements.
