WORK has started on a new purpose-built day nursery in the grounds of Eastleigh College which will provide more students with the opportunity to learn.
Kevin and Teri Crowley, who run the 60-place Little Acorns day nursery in St John's Road, Hedge End, are expanding their operation to include the new 64-place nursery in the grounds of the college campus at Chestnut Avenue.
It's a separate entity from the college, and available for use by the public. The new facility will also cater for children of students and staff at the college.
The project has been heralded as "very important " by Eastleigh College chief executive Tony Lau-Walker.
It's due to open in September. All inquiries should go to Little Acorns Hedge End base on 01489 795860.
