JAZZ sensation Clare Teal will visit The Corn Exchange, in Newbury, on Friday, April 29, at 7.45pm.

Teal is the most successful young female jazz singer in the UK.

Recently signed to Sony Jazz in a deal that has broken records for a UK jazz performer, the talented singer and songwriter is poised to become a household name.

Teal has recently been working with John Dankworth and Cleo Laine, the BBC Big Band and the BBC Concert Orchestra.

She also has wowed thousands on the ONEWORLD Stage at Glastonbury and took the Edinburgh Fringe festival by storm.

Clare's first national TV performance was on the Parkinson show. She has since been a guest reviewer on Michael Parkinson's Sunday Supplement and has recorded two exclusive series of songs for the Russell Davies Show.

Clare's songs are regularly heard on BBC Radio 2, 3 and 4, Jazz FM, Music Choice and BBC local radio. She also has her own Radio 2 programme, After Seven With Clare Teal, on Friday nights at 7pm.

Her latest album, Don't Talk, is her debut for Sony and is in shops now.
