TROUBLE-MAKING yobs should be turned away from Andover's new youth facility The Depot, a borough councillor says.
Lib/Dem councillor Donald MacDonald wants justice to be done to a gang of youngsters, who hurled a stone and shattered the Eardley Avenue lounge window of a pensioner.
The pensioner, who does not wish to be named, was watching soap opera Emmerdale when she heard the smash.
"My heart was racing and I went outside and saw them run away," the 77-year-old said.
The pensioner was then asked if she was OK by another group of youngsters - behind the first group.
She now has to get the pane of glass replaced and would like the person responsible to apologise to her.
"It's really the inconvenience of it all - an apology from the person who did it would be lovely," she said.
