NEARLY 100 pupils took part in a competition to redesign Southampton Airport's departure lounge during a schools' competition.
The youngsters, aged from 13 to 15, had to produce a creative design but keep within a strict budget.
Teams from Woolston School in Southampton, Hamble Community Sports College and Alderman Quilley School in Eastleigh did their best to dazzle a panel of judges.
In the end the team from Woolston School were crowned winners with two teams from Hamble Community Sports College runners-up.
The event was organised by Solent Skill Quest, Southampton and South West Hants education Business Partnership, to give pupils a taste of what it's like to manage a company or project.
Jenifer Macindoe, enterprise development manager for Solent Skill Quest said: "With Enterprise education currently high on the national agenda, events such as these provide an ideal opportunity for young people to develop and apply their enterprising skills."
