A CONCERT hall at a Chandler's Ford School has scooped another design accolade with a commendation in the 2005 Civic Trust Awards.
The £2.7m, 400-seater auditorium at Thornden School was opened in May 2003 and has already earned an award for the best structural use of brick after beating a host of entries from all over the country.
Now, the hall has received a commendation from the Civic Trust at a gala ceremony in Brighton.
The Thornden hall and Winchester's Osborne School were commended for making a "valuable contribution to the environment".
