HAMBLE have missed out on the chance of a Hampshire Cup final showdown with Trojans at the Sports Centre on Bank Holiday Monday, May 2.
Despite dominating the latter stages and scoring through Hamoza, they went down 2-1 to City of Portsmouth, who will defend the trophy against Trojans, who had previously edged out Havant in a penalty shoot-out semi-final drama.
Fareham were left kicking themselves after allowing a 3-2 lead slip in the Second XI semi-final at Andover.
A Mark Dixon brace and Woody McInally had Fareham lined up for a cup final showdown with Winchester.
But Andover hit back to win 4-3.
