THE last remaining issue in the Premier Division was sorted as Cadnam United crashed to a humiliating 7-0 defeat at AFC Target in a match they needed full points in order to survive.
Target showed little mercy and Ben Boyce struck three times with Pete Hurst grabbing a brace while Simon Hoare and Craig Williams completed Cadnam's mysery.
They join already relegated Priory Rovers and are replaced by Senior 1 champs Hamble Harriers and League Cup finalists AFC Bassett.
There were plenty of goals as champions Nursling showed they intend to complete the season without losing a match.
They rattled in six without reply against hapless Hythe Aztecs. Lee Brown scoring four in the process. Terry Kouziou and Jake Wilson were their other marksmen.
The only other top-flight match saw Locksley Sports sneak a narrow 1-0 win against AFC Arrow courtesy of an Aaron Connolly strike in the second half. The match proved a suitable warm-up for Thursday night's big encounter at St Mary's stadium when they play Lyndhurst in the Southampton Senior Cup Final.
