SUPPORT: It is a little known fact that there are a number of dedicated ladies crafting away in a secret grotto making all things necessary for our church.

Kneelers are a part of their production line and they have just completed a large cover for the funeral bier.

Now this takes time and materials. The time they have but materials are in short supply.

Who are these ladies? Well, they are the Old Basing Stitchcraft group.

Please support them as the service they provide is invaluable.

SKITTLES: The clock is running down to get your forms in for the carnival team skittles knockout by April 19.

If you live in a road, or belong to an organisation that can raise a team, put your money where your mouth is and send in your form.

PARISH council annual general meeting: Will be held at 7.45pm on Tuesday, April 19, in the parish room at St Mary's Church.

There will be a question and answer session with all the members of the council in attendance.

A voluntary service award will also be presented to a resident.
