MOTORBIKES: Did you see the large number of motorcycles coming through the village last Sunday in threes and fours, and wonder at their disciplined driving, presenting the unusual sight of cars held up by motorbikes?
They were members of an advanced motorcycling club which promotes responsible biking.
They can come back to Kingsclere any time.
EMBROIDERY: The new class at the Village Club has been a resounding success and has prompted demand for a second one.
There will be a new evening class teaching gold thread embroidery and crewel work on Thursdays, from 7pm to 9pm, starting on May 12.
The cost of the 12-week course will be £48, payable upon enrolment.
To book or to find out more information, call Josie Norton on 298059.
CLASSES: The Village Club runs a range of classes and is an accredited adult education centre supported by Hampshire County Council.
Those classes currently running include keep fit with pilates, tai chi, painting, needlecraft, embroidery, computing, French and Spanish.
Call Josie if you would like more information.
DOG fouling: No apologies for returning to this theme but our grass-cutting contractor has complained about the amount of dog mess on the cut area of The Dell Recreation Ground.
There is no excuse for this as the ground has several bins in which picked up dog mess can be deposited.
If this is beyond you, maybe you shouldn't have a dog!
COWSLIPS: The Dell Recreation Ground also has a wild flower meadow which is listed in the Treasures of Hampshire.
Now is the chance to see cowslips growing, but, please, leave them to seed as they are gradually enlarging their foothold in this interesting area.
WI: The new WI group will have its inaugural meeting on Wednesday, April 20, in the Crown, at 7.30pm.
Call Susie Allam on 297849 for more details.
