YOUNGSTERS at Hedge End's Shamblehurst Primary School have been going krazy to help less fortunate children.

The Krazy Kingdom play centre opened its doors to the pupils for an evening of fun and fundraising.

Organised by the school's PTA, proceeds from the event were for the Save the Children Fund.

PTA chairman Sue Tee said: "We were all affected by the tsunami disaster. But as a school we wanted to donate money to a charity which would help not only the tsunami victims but children across the world.

"So we felt that the Save the Children Fund was a perfect choice."

More than 200 children took part in the fun event and nearly £340 was raised for the charity.

The Shamblehurst PTA hope to make the charity fun evening an annual event.
