LONDON Marathon: Martin Jeffery, of Baughurst, was running in the London Marathon on Sunday.

It was his first marathon and he is running in aid of the British Heart Foundation.

THE Tuesday Club: Meet at Heath End Hall next Tuesday, from 2pm to 4pm.

ART with music weekend: It is the Art with Music weekend at St Paul's Church, Ashford Hill.

This is an exhibition of work by more than 40 artists and craftsmen.

It takes place on Saturday, April 23, between 1pm and 5pm, and Sunday, April 24, between 11am and 4pm.

BAUGHURST parish annual assembly: Will be held on Thursday, April 21, at 7.30pm, at Heath End Hall. All parishioners are invited to attend.

THE present Red Cross first-aid course: Is fully booked, but the next course will be held at Tadley Swimming Pool later this year on June 2, 9, 23 and 30.
