THE condition of a motorcyclist who was given emergency treatment at the scene of an accident in Southampton on Saturday is improving, police said yesterday.
The motorcyclist was taken to Southampton General Hospital after a collision with a Honda car in West Quay Road just before 12.30pm.
The 35-year-old man from Totton was said to be in a serious condition after witnesses saw him being thrown into the air by the impact of the crash.
A police spokesman said the man's condition had improved and his injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.
