THE Isle of Wight Islanders are sweating on the fitness of Dane Steen Jensen after he crashed while riding at Eastbourne on Saturday night.
Jensen was in last position at the time and lost control entering the first turn. After bouncing and rolling for 30 yards, he hit the fence and remained on the track causing the heat to be stopped.
Jensen badly dislocated his thumb but the Islanders will hope he passes a late fitness test to take his place against bitter rivals Reading at Smallbrook tonight for the Premier Trophy meeting.
