JACK and Ben Stubbington are following in the footsteps of father Gary and getting into the winning habit on the golf course.
They teamed up to win the Family Foursomes competition at Hockley, where former South Region and Hampshire champion Gary is club professional.
Ben, who is 16 and already has his handicap down to ten, leaves school this year and hoping to go to Barton Peveril to study, among other things, sports coaching and PE. Jack, only ten, plays off 36.
Together they posted a winning score of 42 points in the family Stableford event, part of a busy weekend for Hockley in which they celebrated the opening of the new tenth hole.
Jack and Ben received their trophy, above, from Hockley captain Richard Arrowsmith.
