COMEDY nights at the Haymarket continue this season, with a move from Jongleurs to the Off the Kerb Comedy Club on Sunday, April 24, at 7.45pm.
The evening line-up includes Angelo Tsarouchas, Simon Evans, Steve Gribbin and Lucy Porter.
You can't turn on a television without seeing Angelo's face. His turbo-charged comedic energy is unparalleled and his outrageous spontaneous combustion will have you in stitches!
Back from the Just for Laughs comedy festival in Montreal, he's a powerhouse of attitude and character, mixed with witty observations and a Viking approach. This teddy bear of comedy fuels the observations of life with his Ouzo-powered hilarity.
Simon Evans is a firmly established headline act on the circuit. He has performed sell-out shows at the Edinburgh Festival for several years. He dresses smartly, uses no bad language whatsoever and can raise an eyebrow that Jack Benny would have been proud of.
His talents have been put to good use on both television and radio, and he has written for The Big Breakfast, Lily Savage, Johnny Vaughan Tonight, The State We're In and has a sitcom in development.
One for all the dads out there, Steve Gribbin will reveal all of the highs and lows of life with a selection of sketches and songs such as I'm Turning Into My Dad and The Teenage Blues Operetta. Five-foot tall Lucy Porter will provide the only female comedy on the night.
Tickets are available from the box office on 0870 770 1088.
