FAREHAM Borough Council is offering shops, businesses and restaurants the chance to have their details included on the town's new hi-tech information points for free.
The state-of-the-art screens, which will allow visitors to see what's on at the cinema and where to go for a bite to eat at the touch of a button, are due to be installed at four points in the town centre this summer.
Shops and businesses which want to get in on the act and have their information logged for users to explore are being invited to contact the council.
With neon lighting and touch-sensitive screens, the new information points will be much more comprehensive than the usual town maps and static information stands.
