SIXTIES chart starts The Manfreds will be reviving memories of a swinging decade at The Anvil, Basingstoke on May 5.
Paul Jones, Mike d'Abo, Tom McGuinness and the rest of the band will be performing their best-loved hits, including Do Wah Diddy Diddy, Mighty Quinn, Pretty Flamingo and 5-4-3-2-1.
The Manfreds stopped playing in 1969 but rediscovered their group dynamic following a successful reunion in 1991.
Their live show promises a quirky mix of solid gold pop, jazz and rhythm and blues.
The evening isn't just for fans of 1960s music. The Manfreds will be joined by special guest Paul Young, the soulful 80s chart-topper whose hits include Wherever I Lay My Hat (That's My Home), Every Time You Go Away and Love Of The Common People made him a huge star.
