HAMPSHIRE Economic Partnership (HEP) has appointed Anne Duncan, chief executive officer of Southampton-based Yellowfin, as chairman of its Innovation & Enterprise task group.
A serial entrepreneur, Anne has held various senior positions in public and private based companies and is currently enjoying her position at Yellowfin, developers of a revolutionary high-speed propulsion system creating a new type of marine drive.
In addition her involvement with HEP, Anne is South East Regional Policy chairman of the Institute of Directors and chairman of the new Entrepreneur's Club. She is a founding member of Marine South East (previously SEEDA's marine task force) and deputy chairman of HEP's Marine Policy task group.
Anne said: "I'm delighted to be heading up HEP's Innovation & Enterprise task group as the challenge of working with start-ups or developing high growth strategies is what really excites me.
"Lots of good work has been undertaken by the group and I'm looking forward to using my expertise to get more people taking those first steps towards becoming entrepreneurs."
