PARENTS, friends and supporters packed the hall at Fair Oak's Wyvern Technology College to see an enthusiastic cast of talented staff and students share the stage in aid of CAFOD's Sudan Appeal.
Show producer Keith Wiggans said: "Following the Boxing Day disaster, we felt that with so much aid going to the tsunami appeal, it was right to redress the balance and ensure that funds were still being raised for ongoing issues in Africa."
The gala evening provided a varied programme of material from the college's concert, brass and jazz bands plus the student, staff and combined choirs. There was also room for soloists to perform GCSE music performance pieces alongside staff with their party pieces.
The evening raised £2,000 for CAFOD - the Catholic agency for overseas development.
