MORE than 50 Whit-church residents showed off their talents at the first ever Artistic Day at the Baptist Hall on Saturday.
The hall was full of different exhibits, including paintings and drawing, writing, photography, carving, embroidery, moulding and many more.
A one-year hobbyist Noel Parrett made silver jewellery in front of visitors. Lou Phillips, of The Bell in Whitchurch, carved plasterboard, painted and sealed it and Sue Oakhams machine embroidery stun-ned everybody.
Children's works from Testbourne School included lizard tiles and dozens of pots based on Red Indian culture. Graham Burgess, the organiser, said: "Everyone including the artists were surprised at the depth and scope of talent revealed at this show.
