A BROADBAND campaign has shored up a wealth of support for a bigger and better Chilbolton and Wher-well website.
Campaigner John Rowles put the wheels in motion when he began enlisting signatures for a petition which would bring broadband to the area.
After phoning more than 300 residents and getting broadband installed, John found server 123-live to host the expanded website.
He said: "We share the exchange with Wherwell so it was easier to have a website for both villages that we could put more information on.
"The website is for the community's use and I think the community has responded."
Web wizard Alan Crisp, who updates the site regularly, said that feedback from Chilbolton and Wherwell residents had been extremely positive.
"People are delighted we've taken it on and are keeping the site alive. There's so much information for people to find out what's going on," he said.
