OLYMPIC diving hero Peter Waterfield found himself a little higher above the water than he's used to.
The Southampton sportsman, who bagged a silver medal in synchronised diving last summer at Athens, was perched 40 metres up a dock crane.
The 24-year-old, who lives in Millbrook, was at Southampton's Western Docks to receive a £2,500 sponsorship cheque from backer Southampton Container Terminals.
Company managing director Patrick Walters, pictured left, said: "We are proud to be associated with an international champion, and we wish Pete success in the forthcoming American and Canadian championships and his preparations for the Beijing Olympics."
