SAINTS penalty shoot-out hero Andrew McNeil helped book the club's place in the FA Youth Cup final, and roared: "Now we have to win it."
The Scotland under-18 international stopped Wolves' second penalty, from Jordan Fitzpatrick, before celebrating David McGoldrick's match winner.
He said: "This is the highlight of our careers so far but hopefully we'll do better than that next week and won't need penalties.
"I spoke to David Coles, the goalkeeping coach, before the shoot out and he said 'make sure you watch the player, don't go too early and try and read what they're going to do'.
"I always do that anyway but that reaffirmed it in my mind, I just concentrated on each individual player.
"And I do plenty of penalty practice with Leon Best every day and it's obviously paid off because he scored and I saved one!"
McNeil denied sub Elliott Bennett with a brilliant block five minutes before Davies scored the home side's third.
He added: "We had chances to bury them in the first half but credit to Wolves, they came back really strong in the second, scored two excellent goals and a third that was full of sheer determination and character."
McGoldrick began and ended a memorable evening with goals.
He said: "It was a heart-stopper when we went 3-1 down but we showed that we've got the character by getting the goal back and beating them.
"At half-time we thought we could keep a clean sheet and get another goal, but we didn't come out strong enough.
"But I was always confident I was going to score at the end. We all took penalties this morning, a few were shanked over the bar but thankfully they all went in when it mattered."
Right-back Craig Richards dedicated last night's win to under-18s coach Georges Prost, who is in France after being diagnosed with cancer.
He said: "Now we want to win the final for Georges. He always sends over his best wishes and gives us tactical advice so this was for him."
And captain Martin Cranie said: "We took our foot off the gas a little bit in the second half but Andrew McNeil has been superb all tournament and could do nothing about the goals.
"We knew from the first leg that Wolves are a hard working team and they showed that again.
"Now we just have to go out and do our stuff in the final."
