WELSH rappers Goldie Lookin' Chain have been confirmed as the latest headline act at this June's Nokia Isle of Wight Festival.
Described as the comic, shambolic future of all music by the NME, the crazy Newport rappers have been a huge hit in the UK with their cheeky rhymes about growing up in South Wales.
Goldie Lookin' Chain aren't your typical ghetto crew. These chavs rap about robots, roller discos, famous suicides and John Fashanu! Their debut album, which contained songs like Guns Don't Kill People Rappers Do and Half Man Half Machine, shot straight into the top ten and they join Morrissey as one of the Saturday's main headline acts.
Day tickets for the final day of the festival, headlined by REM, have already sold out, with weekend passes also selling fast. A weekend ticket with camping costs £90.
The festival, now in its fourth year since being revived, runs from June 10 to 12.
