FOUR budding actors from Southampton have been gracing the stage at the city's Mayflower theatre this week, starring in a professional touring company production of An Inspector Calls.
The young stars made their debut performance in front of a packed Mayflower audience on Tuesday, playing a group of children looking in on the centrepiece Edwardian house, where J B Priestley's classic tale of deceit and murder unfolds.
The children - eight-year-old Nathan Hack of Shirley Junior School, nine-year-old Darius McArdle of Knightwood Primary School in Eastleigh, ten-year-old Kelly Maskell of Hiltingbury Junior School in Eastleigh and nine-year-old Sam Martin of Shamblehurst Primary School near Eastleigh - all made a big impression with the professional actors.
The show runs until Saturday. Tickets cost from £14.50. Call the box office on 023 8071 1811.
