THE hunt is on for Hampshire people with Duke of Edinburgh's gold awards.
A total of 250 people who successfully completed their gold award between 1956 and 2005 will be invited to a Celebration of Golden Golds taking place in Winchester's Great Hall early next year.
The evening will aim to share memories and celebrate achievements as well as commemorate 50 years of the Duke of Edinburgh award.
People aged from 17 to 67 are expected to reminisce, share their stories and compare experiences on their "golden" journey.
The Duke of Edinburgh's award aims to provide an enjoyable and rewarding programme of personal challenges for young people aged between 14 and 25.
More than three million young people have participated in the scheme in the past 50 years, clocking up bronze, silver and gold awards.
Hampshire people who have completed their gold awards are asked to send a copy of their certificate, with their address on the back, to Golden Golds, 4 Meadowland, Kings Worthy, Winchester, SO23 7LJ.
