THERE were any number of questions posed on Saturday, before, during and after Lions' less than epic Wessex League encounter at AFC Totton.
Some would take a little investigation whereas others are surely unanswerable. For example, why were the goalkeepers forced to play in goalmouths which appeared so rich in stone and flint that the Time Team crew would have had a field day?
Three days' worth of archaeological investigation might well have led them to discover that there once was a decent surface there.
