THE DAILY ECHO today launches its 'Staying Up with Harry and Jim' campaign as Saints face their most vital six matches since their 'Great Escape' season in 1998/99.
After a bad weekend that left Saints back in the Premiership's bottom three, the Echo is issuing a rallying call to the St Mary's faithful: Keep up your terrific support at such a vital time.
Manager Harry Redknapp has targeted ten more points from the remaining six matches to complete his tough task of transforming Saints and keeping the club in the top flight of English football for a 28th successive campaign.
And the Echo is calling on fans to vocally back the side to the victories that will ensure that target becomes a reality.
It was almost like Saints were the home team at Blackburn as over 2,000 travelling fans chanted and cheered their way through 90 minutes, turning their end into a sea of yellow and blue colour to show Redknapp's men their support.
More of that is going to be required to help the team through some gruelling matches between now and May 15 - starting against inconsistent Aston Villa on Saturday.
The Echo will be counting down the nervous climax to the season with stories every day on Saints and their relegation rivals.
It promises to be a thrilling end to the season when, hopefully, Saints will still be in the Premiership - with Harry and Jim.
