HAMPSHIRE sporting stars are gathering at Corhampton on April 27 for a CelAm golf meeting to raise money for the Piam Brown Children's Cancer Ward at Southampton General Hospital - the chosen charity of club captain Shane Dickson.
Former Saints managers Alan Ball and Gordon Strachan will be playing, along with Robin Smith, Tim Tremlett, Bruce Reid and possibly Kevin Pietersen from Hampshire Cricket.
Shane is hoping that a number of Saints and Pompey players, including Jamie Redknapp and Gary O'Neil, will play, along with Fratton coach Joe Jordan.
Top Hampshire PGA professionals Dave Porter, Kevin Saunders, Matt Tryhorn and Gary Stubbington are in the field along with former world snooker champion Stacey Hilliard, top referees Graham Poll, Rob Styles, Paul Durkin and Steve Dunn plus ITV newsman Andy Steggall.
The action gets under way at noon with one celeb drawn with three other players.
