CONSERVATION volunteers rolled up their sleeves and spruced up local wildlife at Gosport's nature reserve.
The group from the town's Midweek Conservation Volunteers gathered to improve the wildlife garden and entrance to the Wildgrounds in Rowner as part of a five-month campaign called environment Agency Action Earth.
Organised by the charity Community Service Volunteers, it involves more than 750 groups who, supported by the Environment Agency, will be involved in projects of a lasting benefit to the community and the environment.
The volunteers have also put up a special information board telling local residents about wildlife events and activities coming up.
