TORY leader Michael Howard made a brief visit to Winchester on Thursday ahead of the General Election on May 5.
Addressing party members at the city's guildhall, he launched a stinging attack on the Government.
Conservative parliamentary candidate for Winchester, George Hollingbery, also joined in the attack.
He said: "People in this country don't like being taken for a ride, and on May 5 people can say 'enough is enough'."
