SNOOKER legends Steve Davis and Dennis Taylor go head-to-head in Southampton next week - almost 20 years to the day they contested the most memorable match in world championship snooker history.
More than 18 million people stayed up after midnight back in 1985 to witness Taylor's dramatic comeback from 8-0 down to win 18-17 on the final black.
The two former world champions will be joined by Willie Thorne for an evening of entertainment in aid of the Wessex Cancer Trust at St Mary's. Tickets cost £65 a head and the evening starts at 7.30 for 8pm. For tickets or more information, contact 023 8067 2200.
