LIFE could be a beach for Saints tomorrow. And teenage supporter Jim Smith is calling on his fellow fans to make Blackburn a sea of yellow.
The 16-year-old will be one of over 2,000 Saints fans making the long journey north.
And Smith is determined that fans should show their support in the same way they did for the FA Cup final two years ago - by making their end at Ewood Park all yellow and blue, including as many beach balls as possible.
Smith said: "We are hoping that as many people as possible will wear yellow and bring balloons, inflatables, flags - anything just to make it as colourful as possible.
"Several of us will be taking as many balloons as possible and handing them out, but balloons are cheap and easy to buy so hopefully people will follow suit.
"The idea first came about when we played Norwich in the FA Cup on our way to the final and they had something like 400 beach balls in their end and it looked fantastic.
"It would be fantastic for the players to see the support - especially if we could make the atmosphere like it was at the FA Cup final."
"We need the support now more than ever."
