JACK Russell was unleashed on Saturday as part of Andover Cricket Club's mass effort to transform its pavilion into a base fit for a winning team.
The makeover was part of the NatWest CricketForce 2005 volunteer initiative.
Although the helping paw came from Nelly the Jack Russell dog rather than the former England wicket keeper, the fruitful day saw a dowdy pavilion undergo a radical makeover.
Volunteers from the club gave up part of their weekend to paint the pavilion and clean the advertising hoardings at the Batchelors Barn Road ground.
