Longbridge continues to fish well with Barry Townsend from Chandler's Ford fishing peg 22 for a 10lb 12oz ghost, mirrors of 10lb 15oz and 10lb and 11 other carp to 9lb, finishing off with 8 tench to 4lb. He fished halibut pellet to the island.
Ted Pilkinton fished peg 34 for 18 tench to 4lb, 12 carp to 6lb, six crucians to 1lb and a 20lb bag of bream, rudd and roach taken on red maggot and corn.
Andy Rice from Manchester took some cracking ghosts with fish of 19lb 4oz, 14lb 4oz and 13lb 4oz, commons of 15lb 4oz and 10lb 8oz, plus 24 other carp to 9lb on popped up biscuit and cheese from peg 21a.
On Turf Croft Farm, Burley Paul Phillips Christchurch took some nice carp with the best a 20lb 3oz mirror taken on floating crust from peg 16. Peter Parker from Southampton took some cracking roach to 2lb, float fishing maggot and caster from peg seven.
Paul Hill from Bournemouth took a good bag of tench and skimmers from peg 22 using luncheon meat, caster and maggots. Plenty of good tench showing to 5lb and bream to 6lb on maggot and meat.
At Mopley Farm's Cadland Fishery over the Easter period Dark Lane produced good bags of roach, bream and tench from 19lb to 40lb on day sessions, with carp in bags of up to 14 fish showing on night sessions. Mopley Pond produced common to 16lb and mirrors to 20lb 10oz.
Dave Wateridge's Waldens Farm Complex is still fishing well with Bishops Lake producing bream, roach and perch bags off most pegs to maggot and worm. Abbots Lake this week saw Jimmy Greenough of Salisbury take a 15lb common on float fished maggot, while Aaron Martin from Salisbury took a 12lb ghostie on pellet over loose fed pellet.
Dave Wateridges grandson Jack fished Deacons Match Lake and took chub to 3lb and carp to 6lb included in his 30lb bag along with tench and rudd using corn and pellet over loose fed pellet. The match on Sunday saw Alan Turner running well clear of the field with 65lb, with Bill Pragnall second with 41lb and Ted Bubb third on 11lb 4oz.
