Poingdestres' Pete Newman came home a clear winner in the individual part of the teams of four competition fished on Witherington Farm, taking a huge 161lb 8oz of carp from Cottage Lake and 60lb more than second-plced Steve Nadin (98lb 12oz) in total.
Carbotech won the team event with 37 points. Equal second were Poingdestres and Eastleigh Mosella Old Boys with 31 points.
Withies Select (211 points) lead the way with one match to go (May 14), from Eastleigh Mosella (209.5) and Carbotech (194.5).
The final match of the Christchurch AC Series on Hordle at the weekend saw Steve Nadin bag 52 carp for a massive 145lb 7oz from Dave Self with 119lb 10oz Third spot went to Mark Blake (114lb 8oz).
Overall winner was Graham Tappenden with 11 penalty points which earned him £240 in prize money.
The Cormorants club match held on Witherington Farm's Inner Ring was won by Pete Fraser with 56lb 4oz of carp on the pole. In second came Clive Egerton (53lb 14oz) and third Graham Maton (48lb).
Salmon Leap AC held a match on Witherington Farm's Barnmoor and Sellwood Lakes at the weekend with Stuart Watson winning with 82lb 2oz of carp on corn and pellet from peg 13 on Barnmoor from Paul Lloyd with 59lb 6oz from peg six on Sellwood.
