IT'S a ferry link that has operated between Hythe and Southampton since AD400 - and now the Hythe Ferry is under threat.
Operators White Horse Ferries Ltd are facing a planned 740% increase in its business rates, and the service could be axed if the crippling rise is imposed. Thousands of people rely on the service to get to work or to the shops in the city centre and without it they would be well and truly sunk. Join our campaign to save the Hythe Ferry by signing our petition to demand its future is secured.
