NORTH West Hampshire Liberal Democrats are launching a petition against proposed cuts in NHS staffing in the Winchester and Eastleigh Health-care Trust and the Mid Hampshire Primary Care Trust.
They are already in the process of collecting signatures, but will be collecting more tomorrow, 2 April near Andover Guildhall.
Martin Tod, Lib/ Dem prospective parliamentary candidate for North West Hampshire, said: "We are launching this petition because we can't afford to stay silent in reaction to these threatened cuts.
"It's unacceptable that there should be news of cuts to the local NHS at a time when people already have concerns about out of hours support from GPs, dentist provision and continued support for Andover War Mem-orial Hospital." For the full story see Friday's Andover Advertiser.
